4 Years Ago...yesterday

Well I should have posted this yesterday, but oh well, better late than never!
So yesterday, 4 years ago, we welcomed yet another son into our family. Carson was born at 12:39 weighing in at a whopping 8lbs! Considering Connor was only 6lb 7oz-this was huge to us. Carson is such a joy to have in our lives and definitely there is never a dull moment with him around. He has such a great since of humor and does anything to get a laugh out of someone. He is also very loving, and is constantly in my face telling me he loves me, well except for the few times he said he doesn't love me anymore. He loves to play with his brothers, playing the Wii and Xbox, and absolutely love to dress up as super heros. We love you Carson and are so blessed to have you in our lives!

Because I am Just That Nice!

Yesterday while cleaning the house, Connor was pretending to use the vacuum cleaner. Light bulb came on in my head and I told Connor he could turn it on and vacuum the couches. Then the fighting began over whose turn it was to use the vacuum, so I had to set the timer and let them have equal amounts of time and for Colton I pulled out the dust buster. After doing their cleaning Connor said, "Wow Mom, you have never let us do that before!" Yes Son, I am just that nice that I will LET you clean my couches! :) Hmmm...maybe for Carson's birthday next week I should get him a vacuum cleaner, so they can each have their own!

Another Snow..Well More Ice than Snow!

I cannot believe it happened again, snow. Less than a month ago we had our first snow of the season and we were able to enjoy it again. This time there was more ice mixed in with the snow so we were not able to build a snowman or have a snowball fight, but we were able to go sledding, which a first for Connor and Carson. Colton did not enjoy the snow this time because it was extremely difficult for him to walk, so he resorted to riding around in his car and watching the boys from the sideline.

A Night to Remember

Lastnight was a night I will remember forever. A couple from our church graciously offered to take us up in their airplane and fly to Huntsville for dinner. We left at about 4:45 and was able to watch the sun set from high above. Once we landed, our friend had a courtesy car waiting on us and he drove us to a restaurant called Connors Steakhouse. It was a very nice restaurant and the food was delicious. After dinner we headed back to the airport and headed back to Birmingham. The flight back was my favorite because the sky was clear and you could see all the city lights for miles and miles. Of course my camera would take any good night shots but here are a few to capture our evening.
